route in detail

In Brohm Lake Interpretive Forest off Hwy 99, walk up the old road past Alder Trail (the return), round a hairpin and take Cheakamus Loop Trail uphill to the left through mixed forest. Side trails lead to two bluffs facing the Tantalus Range and Squamish Valley. Descend past split boulders, turn left on High Trail, pass logging artifacts in a clearing and climb to a final viewpoint before looping back via Alder Trail and Brohm Lake.

good to know cam

Hi, I'm Cam Appleton. I love Vancouver and I love getting out on its trails. When I went looking for a simple, easy hiking guide for around here, I couldn't find one I liked. I also really like helping people, so I built this one.

My day job is real estate. I help people buy, sell and lease. I hope you're enjoying the start of Hike Vancouver. If you're thinking about living closer to trails like this one, I'm happy to talk.
